Schwefelhaltiges Wasser tritt hier mit rund 60 °C an die Oberfläche und wird in überdachte Thermalbäder und einen von Palmen beschatteten Außenpoolkomplex geleitet – der Grund für die Existenz des Resorts und der Grund, warum der fünftägige Fish River Hiking Trail zwischen Mai und September direkt hier endet. Die Unterkünfte reichen von Twin Mountain View und River View Zimmern über Vierbett-Family Chalets bis hin zu einem großen Riverside Campsite unter alten Kameldornbäumen. Es gibt ein Restaurant, eine Bar, einen Laden und Treibstoff. Die Hobas-Aussichtspunkte des Canyons liegen etwa 70 km nördlich auf einer Schotterstraße. The resort derives its name from the natural hot springs found here; in the Nama language, "/Ai-/Ais" means "burning hot," describing the warmth of the springs. The natural phenomenon of the thermal spring forms the heart of the resort and is central to the spa area, which features both indoor and outdoor pools for guests. The warm, sulphur-rich water of these springs has soothing effects on muscles and joints. A range of wellness treatments, including massages, adds to the relaxation experience.
