    Overview

    Mana Pools Safari Lodge — known locally as "Vine Camp" — sits on the lower Zambezi floodplain, 15km upstream of Nyamepi main camp inside Mana Pools National Park. Twelve luxury thatched villas overlook the Zambezi, each with two double beds under mosquito nets, an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, a private verandah, and overhead and freestanding fans for cool comfort. Fully solar-powered and nestled beneath wild mango, acacia, and mahogany trees, the lodge is one of the wildest and best-preserved corners of Africa. Elephants drink from the pond behind the 7-metre bar, lions hunt across the floodplain visible from the dining deck, and painted dogs, buffalo, leopard, and an extraordinary diversity of birdlife move freely through the unfenced concession. Guests enjoy a fully all-inclusive experience: chef-curated breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, local drinks, teas and coffees, two activities per day, and airstrip transfers from Mana Main or Mana West.
