Insika Lodge takes its name from the isiNdebele word for "pillar of strength" — a nod to the towering column of spray thrown up by Victoria Falls, a little over three kilometres away. The lodge sits on Parkway Drive in a serene, wooded area bordering Victoria Falls National Park, about 25 minutes from Victoria Falls Airport. Forty rooms are split between 26 Luxury Rooms and 14 larger Signature Rooms, all air-conditioned and en-suite with both a shower and a bath, and all opening onto a private veranda. Six pairs of Luxury Rooms interlead, which makes the lodge unusually workable for families. The main lodge holds the restaurant, bar and lounge, and the gardens look onto a private waterhole that regularly draws elephant and a long list of birds. A contemporary 40-room lodge built around gardens and a private waterhole.
