    Overview

    Simbavati River Lodge is the original camp in the collection, shaded by big jackalberry and leadwood trees on the bank of the Nhlaralumi riverbed in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Accommodation ranges from luxury safari tents with private pools and tented pool suites to two-bedroom family chalets, and the lodge is well set up for families with the Cubs Club activity programme, a pool and a small spa. Rates are fully inclusive of all meals, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines), two guided safari activities a day and return shared transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. Elephant, lion and leopard are regularly seen along the riverbed, and the unfenced Timbavati allows off-road tracking, guided bush walks and night drives. River Lodge is also the meeting point for transfers to Simbavati Trails Camp.
