    Overview

    Simbavati Fynbos on Sea is a relaxed, owner-run lodge set in its own coastal fynbos reserve at Sedgefield, between the Swartvlei lagoon and the sea. Suites open onto decks with lagoon, mountain or garden views, and the reserve is home to Cape mountain zebra, bushbuck and prolific birdlife, with resident species easily seen on the walking trails from the lodge. Rates are bed and breakfast, with dinner available by arrangement, and there is also a self-catering Fynbos Cottage for families or friends travelling together. The location suits a slower Garden Route stay: Swartvlei and Myoli beaches, kayaking and SUP on the lagoon, the Knysna and Wilderness lakes, Goukamma Nature Reserve, forest walks, paragliding at Sedgefield and easy drives to Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
