The stay
Waterberg Wilderness operates as a private nature reserve at the Waterberg, a prominent table mountain in Namibia. The property includes three distinct lodges and two campsites. The Waterberg table mountain is 50 km long and 16 km wide, rising up to 200 metres from the plains. The reserve contains rare game, including sable, buffalo, black rhino, and white rhino. It features one of southern Africa's most diverse flora areas with 500 species. Activities include a Plateau Hike onto the table mountain, an exclusive “Honeymoon Sundowner” plateau hike, a Rhino Drive to see rhinos, giraffes, and other game, and rhino tracking on foot. Hiking trails include a "botanical garden". The valley provides lush vegetation and over 200 bird species. Waterberg Wilderness is part of the ONE Namibia company, which preserves wildlife and natural habitats.
