The stay
Omarunga Epupa-Falls Camp is a thatched lodge situated on the riverbank under makalani palms, 200 metres upstream from the cascading Epupa Falls. The camp offers a refuge in the far northern reaches of Namibia's Kaokoland. It features 14 private tented rooms with en-suite bathrooms, equipped with coffee and tea facilities and mosquito nets. Guests can wake to the sound of the falls and palm thrushes. The property has a restaurant, bar, curio shop, and a cold water swimming pool. WiFi and mobile connectivity are available, along with secure parking at the main lodge. The camp is committed to sustainable hospitality practices, holding an Eco Awards Namibia certification for its focus on environmental conservation and community involvement. Activities available include guided visits to a Himba village, seasonal rafting on the Kunene River, guided walking trails along the river, and sundowner drives to a hill overlooking Epupa Falls. Laundry service is also provided.
