Guests also have access to the main Kalahari Farmhouse facilities, including a swimming pool and a bar.

    Where you'll sleep

    Guests sleep at one of eight camping sites, situated on clean, cool lawn shaded by palm trees, offering an idyllic rural ambience. Each pitch is optimised to accommodate either one large camper van or two standard 4x4 SUV vehicles equipped with rooftop tents. The sites provide power points and electric lighting, with shared ablution facilities available. The peaceful environment is designed to lull guests into a tranquil slumber as night falls.

    Eating and drinking

    Each campsite comes with barbeque facilities for guests to prepare their own meals. Barbeque packs are available for purchase at reception if ordered before 10:00 AM. Ice and wood are also available at reception for an additional cost. Guests have access to the main Kalahari Farmhouse’s restaurant and bar. The Self-Sufficiency Centre adjacent to the Kalahari Farmhouse produces a variety of produce for the Gondwana Collection, and guests are welcome to visit its butchery and greenhouses. This centre supplies much of the meat for the Gondwana Lodges.

    Kalahari Farmhouse Campsite is located in Stampriet, 53 km northeast of Mariental in the Hardap Region of Namibia, within the Kalahari area. It is easily accessible along the tar road on the outskirts of Stampriet. The site is part of the Kalahari Farmhouse property, which is blessed with artesian water, allowing for lush gardens and the Self-Sufficiency Centre. The location provides an oasis in the heart of the desert. For further activities, the Kalahari Anib Lodge is 30 km away.
