The stay
Kalahari Anib Campsite is located 30 km northeast of Mariental, in the Namibian Kalahari. It offers a luxury camping experience with private campsites designed for comfort. Guests arriving at the property are welcomed with a cold refreshment. The campsite provides access to the facilities of the adjacent Kalahari Anib Lodge, including its swimming pools, restaurant, and bar. The lodge underwent a facelift in 2016. This is a suitable stopover for those travelling from the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park towards Etosha National Park, and is accessible by sedan car. The campsite offers an opportunity to relax or engage in various activities. Eco-friendly measures are implemented, such as recycling waste water for garden use, using water-efficient shower heads and toilets, composting kitchen waste, and sorting waste for recycling. Energy-saving bulbs are in use, air conditioners have timers, and water heaters are equipped with timers. The property is home to various wildlife, including zebra, springbok, wildebeest, steenbok, giraffes, gemsbok, scrub hare, kori bustard, and pearl spotted owlets. Marabou storks are also seen at the lodge's natural waterhole.
