Canyon Lodge

Canyon Lodge is situated among rounded granite boulders, 20 km east of the Fish River Canyon on C37 in Namibia. The reception is housed within a century-old farmhouse, accompanied by a lush garden and a pond. The lodge is designed to blend with the rugged surroundings, offering an unpretentious allure. Guests can relax by the poolside or on a terrace. The property has 30 thatch-and-stone chalets scattered across the landscape. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Early check-in is subject to availability, and late check-out is available upon request. Wi-Fi is available in the main public areas, including reception, lounge, and restaurant, though speeds are suited for basic emails and messaging due to the remote desert location and rock formations. 24-hour security is provided, and secure parking is available at the main lodge. Examples of dinner mains include Oryx steak, chicken, beef goulash, springbok steak, lamb chops, pork chops, and boerewors. Salads might include a build-your-own-salad bar and premade options such as potato salad, lentils, and green bean salad. Vegetables served include sweet potatoes, butternut squash, cauliflower, vegetable rice, bacon-wrapped green beans, potato wedges, eggplant, cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. The lodge also has a bar.
