The Manor House
The luxurious Manor House has magnificent views, a spacious patio and huge living spaces. Its sleeps 8 adults in 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms, the 5th bedroom is a dorm/loft with 6 single beds for kids. The 6th bedroom has a further 2 single beds.
Loerie Cottage
This lovely 2 bedroom cottage is set above the spring-fed lake and sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and is ideally suited to one family with two children, OR two couples. Loerie has a daybed in the lounge that can be made up upon request at an additional R300 surcharge (only suitable for children aged 12 or under). It has one bathroom with a bath and a shower above it. The cottage has a spacious lounge and dining area, and the main bedroom has a cast iron woodstove, making it perfect for a romantic winter getaway. The living area opens out onto a large furnished undercover all weather patio with a fireplace/braai. It has seating for 6 at mealtimes so invite friends staying in one of our other cottages over for a bite. The setting is stunning, overlooking the spring-fed lake, green pastures and the rolling hills of the Langeberg mountains. Watch your kids swim, fish, canoe, and foefie slide from the comfort of your patio, and it has an outside wood-fired hot-tub from where you can soak up the views. Loerie Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, 1 bag of complimentary firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels. Little Bushbuck Cottage
Little Bushbuck is an open-plan cottage furnished with 1 x double bed and 1 x single single daybed for a child under 12. This charming studio type cottage sits right above the large spring-fed lake. It has one large open plan room with a double bed and a day bed for a child, a small eating table and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, gas hob, kettle, toaster and all cooking and eating utensils. It has a large inside fireplace that can be used for bracing as well heating for a cozy indoor fire. A small undercover patio overlooks the lake. Nearby on the grass banks of the lake is a barbeque area with seating. Please note that Little Bushbuck is located next to the foefie slide so you can expect some walk by traffic on the path behind it, and some noise as a result. Along with its magnificent setting above the spring-fed lake, Little Bushbuck has its own outside wood-fired hot tub from which you can soak up the magnificent views. All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, 1 bag of complimentary firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels. Olive Cottage
This adorable cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and is ideally suited to one family with two kids or two couples. There is one bathroom equipped with a large shower and small sleigh bath. It has a cosy lounge and dining area with a large fireplace to keep you warm in winter – which can also be used for ‘braaining’ indoors. There is a lovely all weather furnished patio with an undercover fireplace/braai. Olive has a daybed in the lounge only suitable for children 12 and younger which can be made up on request at an additional R300 surcharge. The cottage has beautiful views of the pastures and mountain with the river a short stroll in front of the cottage, and it has its own and very private outside wood-fired hot-tub from where you can soak up the views. Olive cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels. Olive Cottage has uncapped 2bpms Wi-Fi suitable for online banking and surfing the Net.
Rose Cottage
This gorgeous cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms which are both en-suite.Rose Cottage boasts the most privacy on the farm as it set on the left off the road, and has uninterrupted mountain and pasture views. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the cottage giving couples privacy within the cottage. The main bedroom is large so can easily sleep mom, dad and one or two kids with granny and grandpa occupying the other bedroom. Alternatively, it is great for two young families with a child each or just two couples. There is also a daybed in the lounge that can be made up at a additional surcharge of R300, which acts as an extra bed if need be (only suitable for children aged 12 or under). The lounge, kitchen and inside dining are all in one spacious area with an inside fireplace for those cosy winter evenings. There is a large furnished undercover patio with a fireplace/braai and seating for 6 at mealtimes so invite your friends staying in the cottage next door over for a braai. Rose has an outside wood-fired hot-tub from where you can soak up the view. This private cottage has magic views of the pastures and mountain with the river a short stroll in front. The bathrooms both have showers with a plastic baby bath in the main bedroom’s large walk-in shower. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
