Rooms
Eyrie House
Sleeps six in three en-suite bedrooms. The largest bedroom can be made up as either as a king bed or two singles, with a kids sleeper couch in an adjacent area. The second and third bedrooms both have queen size beds. There is an option of sleeping two children in day-beds at an additional cost. Each bedroom opens onto a vine-covered veranda with two private outdoor showers. Large outdoor braai facility with outdoor seating. A fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, gas hob/ oven and dishwasher. Swimming pool, hot tub, large deck, loungers and sprawling private garden. Open plan lounge/dining with large fireplace, comfortable couches and armchairs, Dining table seats up to 12. Dining room and lounge open onto a covered deck with table and comfortable lounge chairs, looking over the garden, swimming pool and mountain where you can watch the Verreaux eagles who have a very well-established nest high up on the cliff-face. Wi-Fi and a large flat screen TV monitor (bring your own computer etc connection cables) We supply a stock of firewood and firelighters but you can purchase more if needed @R100/crate. All bathroom amenities as well as a basic supply of tea, filter coffee, sugar and a taste of our own extra virgin organic olive oil.
The Farmhouse
Sleeps four to six in two en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has either a king bed or two singles; two additional single beds in the loft area for older kids, with additional fee. Comfortable double-volume lounge with a large fireplace opens onto the covered veranda with an outside dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an eat-in table, large fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Self-catering and fully furnished. Large swimming pool in a shady, private garden. Wood-fired hot - tub. Outdoor braai and boma. WiFi. We supply firewood, firelighters, all bathroom amenities, tea, filter coffee, sugar and a taste of our own extra virgin olive oil for an average 2 night stay.
Olive Cottage
Large double-volume bedroom with lounge area, firplace and en-suite bathroom. Loft area with 2 single beds. Fully equipped kitchen leading onto a covered verandah with dining table, vine-covered deck and patio area with hot tub and braai. Sleeps two in studio en-suite king bedroom. Two additional single beds in the loft area for kids, with additional fee. Comfortable double-volume lounge with enclosed fireplace opens onto the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with an eat-in table, large fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. It opens onto the covered veranda with dining table, large wooden deck with outdoor furniture overlooking the garden and the patio area with wood-fired hot tub, open fire brazier and braai. Self-catering and fully furnished. WiFi. We supply firewood, firelighters, all bathroom amenities, tea, filter coffee, sugar and a taste of our own extra virgin olive oil for an average 2 night stay. There is no minimum stay for this room.
