    Parsons River Camp sits directly on the banks of the Olifants River in unfenced Big Five country, part of the owner-run Parsons collection in Balule, Greater Kruger. Two classic cottages — Hippo and Croc — each book privately, with river-facing decks where elephant, hippo and plains game pass through daily. Hippo River View Cottage is a four-bedroom cottage sleeping up to eight guests, while Croc River View Cottage is a stylish cottage for four to six. The cottages can be booked separately or together for a larger group taking the whole camp. Rates are full board with breakfast, light lunch and dinner, plus two guided game drives per day in open safari vehicles. The camp is well suited to families and groups who want space, river frontage and privacy, with walking safaris, spa treatments, Panorama Route and Kruger day trips, boat cruises and transfers available on request.
