    Overview

    Parsons Hilltop Tented Camp is the original camp of the owner-run Parsons collection, set on an unfenced hilltop in Parsons Nature Reserve within Balule, Greater Kruger. Four canvas safari tents look out over a lit waterhole, the bushveld and the Drakensberg escarpment, so game viewing carries on from your own deck between drives. Guests choose between three luxury tents — Starling, Oriole and Kingfisher — each with an en-suite bathroom, private viewing deck and outdoor spa or plunge features, and the Guinea fowl classic tent with the closest view onto the waterhole. The camp is intimate by design: a shared pool deck, firepit, lounge and bar keep the atmosphere quiet and adult-oriented. Rates are full board with breakfast, light lunch and dinner, plus two guided game drives per day in open safari vehicles. Walking safaris, spa treatments, Panorama Route and Kruger day trips, boat cruises and transfers can be arranged on request. The camp is best suited to couples and small groups of adults.
