The Mountain Retreat offers an intimate and exclusive off-grid getaway for a family or small group. It boasts some of the most spectacular views out over the estate. What better way to relax, unwind and rejuvenate than to sit on the wrap-around deck, watching the sky change from azure to orange to soft pink and the deepest reds with an ice-cold gin and tonic in hand. The lodge has 2 main bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms that offer an indoor/outdoor shower so you can indulge in a little al-fresco cleansing! The third bedroom is a bunk-bed room for children. The main, open plan living space focuses on family living with a galley-style kitchen, dining area with a wood-burning fire and a comfortable seating area. The living space and both main bedrooms have sliding glass doors that open up onto the large deck area where you can relax and unwind, watching animals grazing in the valleys below. Step down from the deck to the braai area where you can cook under the stars or just while away the evening around a roaring fire. The Mountain Retreat does require a high-rise vehicle for access. The lodge does not have WIFI, however, there is cell phone signal. The lodge is offered on a self-catering basis.

Uniondale Lodge provides all the home-away-from-home comforts that you need in the middle of the bush. It is the ideal getaway for a group of friends or families looking to relax, unwind and spend time in nature with four en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests. The lodge is fully fenced around the perimeter, however, numerous animal species are often seen grazing around the lodge. The main building has an additional two guest bathrooms, a large living room with a wood-burning fire, fully equipped kitchen and large wrap-around veranda that has stacker doors all the way around allowing you to open up the whole house onto the large decked area, or to keep it cosy without losing the view in the cooler months. The stoep has a big dining table that can comfortably seat 10 people, an undercover braai, large L-shaped sofa and a more secluded reading area with comfy armchairs and a selection of books! The private swimming pool is surrounded by a large deck area, complete with loungers and a braai area and has stunning views out over the reserve. The lodge can be offered on either a self-catered or fully-catered basis
