Elephant Suite

Africa Suite - Superior Suite
Four hand-carved elephants guard your bed while you sleep on this king-size bed also available as a twin. The en-suite room has a private deck over the river, his and hers open-plan showers enhance the romantic ambience. The toilet is private. There is also a comfortable sitting area for reading comfort. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a fan, safe, wall heater, honesty fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Family Suite
The family suite situated on the ground floor comprises of 2 separate suites each with a king-size bed, and their own themed bathrooms fitted with showers, separated by a short corridor. Suitable either for 2 adults with 2 children or 4 adults. The Rhino Suite only has a shower so a special baby bath station has been, incorporated, hidden behind cupboard doors. The Buffalo Suite opens up into a cute little garden with seating. Walk a little further and you are on the front deck overlooking the river.
River Cottage
The River Cottage is situated on the bank of the beautiful Sundays River with unobstructed river views. It offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. The River Cottage is tastefully furnished in the colours that reflect the sand dunes and river for which Colchester is known for. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, a fan, safe, sitting area, dressing table, hairdryer, shaving plugs and beautifully tiled en-suite bathrooms with rain showers, on room also a bath. Two of the suites can be set up with 2 single beds, twin beds or an extra-large king-size bed. The front suite with a river view can accommodate twin or double beds. The River Cottage also has a lounge and kitchen as well as a wooden deck, which allows guests privacy. Relax on the deck and enjoy the river birds, the cormorants and darters, the seagulls and Egyptian geese and the herons, as they go about their daily rituals of fishing and tending their young.
