Established in 1872 and graded 3-star by South African Tourism, the farm offers four self-catering sandstone cottages — Fisherman's Cottage, Oak Tree Cottage, Hideaway Cottage and The Milkshed — sleeping a total of 18 guests. Each is fully furnished with linen, towels, electric blankets and a romantic open fireplace, and is serviced daily. Guests have 300 hectares to roam: hiking and mountain bike trails, gentle walks, picnic spots, caves, 7 km of the Little Caledon River for catch-and-release fishing, and 360-degree mountain views. The art capital of Clarens — with its galleries, restaurants and pubs — is just 9 km away.
