Namushasha River Lodge offers a captivating escape where Namibia’s river world meets the wildlife of Bwabwata National Park. Guests are welcomed into a central entrance designed in authentic African style, with the lodge nestled amongst trees. The dining room features a high thatched roof and open sides, allowing the river surroundings to blend with the interior. The atmosphere is designed to be airy and enchanting, providing a peaceful African paradise experience.

The lodge serves as a base for exploring the Zambezi Region, with activities focused on the Kwando River and Bwabwata National Park. Guests can embark on riverboat cruises, either in the early morning or late afternoon, to explore the waterways and observe diverse birdlife. Adventures into Bwabwata National Park begin with a boat ride along the channels, followed by a transfer to a game vehicle for a journey into the bush with knowledgeable guides. The experience culminates with red river sunsets. Visitors should note that between September and December, which is the dry season, river water levels can be low, limiting boat trips and access to certain channels. Enquiries about boat cruise activities can be made upon check-in, and the lodge endeavours to maintain activities as water levels permit, prioritising guest safety.

Rest peacefully in accommodation situated close to the river bank. The rooms are designed for comfort in this tranquil setting. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and a mosquito net for a comfortable night's sleep. Namushasha River Lodge is situated 24 kilometres south of Kongola on the C49 (D3501) in the Zambezi Region, Namibia. Its central location also makes it a suitable base for exploring Bwabwata National Park and for journeys towards Katima Mulilo, Botswana, or Zambia.
