The stay
Kifaru Luxury Lodge offers an exclusive and secluded experience within the Namibian bushveld. The lodge provides an atmosphere of tranquillity and is embraced by the natural landscape. From the deck and infinity pool, guests can enjoy panoramic views over a private reserve, along with Namibia’s sunsets. The décor is designed to reflect the harmony and peacefulness of the bush, featuring neutral shades of browns and greens paired with crisp creams and cool whites. Textures of wood, leather, and patterned upholsteries create a sleek and modern finish, with a welcoming air of reserved splendour.
The lodge is affiliated with the Rhino Momma Project, a rhino conservation initiative aimed at repopulating rhinos in Namibia. Guests have the opportunity to visit the project's undisclosed location to experience the rhinos and conservation efforts first-hand. On the property, there are over 60 species of game and approximately 319 bird species. Activities include guided walking safaris, morning nature drives, and early morning birding safaris. Seasonal options comprise morning feeding drives (at Bush Camp only), rhino brunch drives, sundowner drives, and fauna and flora photo safaris. Half-day rhino tracking and Rhino Momma Project visits are also available seasonally. Guests can relax poolside overlooking the waterhole, or spend time in the reading nook and lounge.
